Larch Cottage Nurseries has evolved over the last twenty years now situated within Romanesque style ruined walls offering one of the most comprehensive ranges of hardy perennials and cottage garden plants in Britain. The walled gardens from which plants are sold seems to grow each time we visit. The place is a wonder to behold, featuring several individual areas, including a Japanese dry garden, monastic herb garden, medieval courtyard and gothic plant house. The surrounding these are a set of large herbaceous borders. Combine your visit with a relaxing coffee and endulgent cake at the excellent cafe or a visit to the newly opened Red Barn art gallery.
